Irides PH app for iPhone and iPad

Irides is a safety platform that enables both civilian citizen and emergency response centers personnel to participate in reporting and monitoring emergency incidents, public disturbances, and other offenses like graft and corruption, criminality and drug-related incidents. The platform consists of 2 interfaces: mobile app and the command center.

The purpose of the mobile app is to crowdsource and report emergency-related information (AV recordings or photos) to the command center. Command center personnel will notify dispatch units closest to the scene of emergency to respond, mitigate, or resolve the situation.

The app allows users to record/take audio, video, and/or photo of scene of disaster, crime or accident and submit it along with a short text description. All contents must be geo-tagged with the civilian reporter’s current GPS location. Reports are validated and moderated to ensure that they are emergency-related situations and not fraudulent or mere spam.

The app will also allow users to anonymously report government-related problems and/or violations and offenses such as bribery, extortion, harassment, questionable contracts and others.
